oneworld alliance celebrates its 10th anniversary

In the course of its first ten years, the number of members in the alliance has grown from the original five members who founded the alliance, to the present ten members: American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malev, Qantas and Royal Jordanian. Add to this the nearly 20 subsidiaries. Later this year, the Mexican airline company Mexicana and its subsidiary Click Mexican will join the alliance.
Membership of the alliance brings benefits to airline passengers in the form of an extended service and air route network including more than 700 destinations.
