San Juan's old quarter was founded in 1521, and you can still find many of the original houses and buildings dating back to the 17th or 18th century. In the narrow streets of the old quarter, you'll find art galleries, small cafés, and numerous music performances taking place. The Quinto Centenario Plaza (San Juan)
This modern-style plaza was founded on occasion of the 500-year anniversary of Columbus' discovery of America. From the top of the stairs with the contemporary fountain, there is a fantastic view over the El Morro. Seen from here, the sunset is rather extraordinary.
The White House (San Juan)
