The Sunflower Hotel

Arrived shortly after breakfast on the boat along with everyone else who was doing a Halong Bay tour. Had to wait for about half an hour in the sweltering heat for the bus to come. Went to the national park where we treked for about an hour up a hill to a tower on the top with amazing views over the island.

Checked into the hotel and went for a very much needed shower followed by lunch. Went to the beach in the afternoon, which was a bit small and overcrowded. Met Belgian guy who was a photographer living in Hanoi and very helpful.

Had a few drinks in the evening with the tour guide, Belgian guy and Ester and Ben.
