India is "heaps of fun"

Hi again

It's been a while. I don't have that much time for internet cafes, and broadband in India is 56kbps. Nice.. And the computer can't cooperate with my camera :(

But, I'm having a really good time in India.

jodhpur was ok. I didn't have time to get to know the city, so it was pretty chaotic. the White tempel near the fort was really beautiful, though.

After Jodhpur it was Udaipur. Beautiful city! The lake was also beautiful, but not up close. Went to the Monsoon palace to see the sunset. The sun was almost hidden behind smog, but we saw glimpses.

then we went to pushkar. Lovely city, very touristy, which meant that it was easy to walk around, and a very relax atmosphere. I don't think the Indias or hippies read the memo on no marihuana in pushkar though...

After Pushkar it was Jaipur. I met up with Victoria, which was great. Can't wait to see her again in Feb, though she'l have exams then. Jaipur was nice, especially together with Vicky.

After Jaipur it was Bharatpur - a very small national park with birds. Saw a python among many other things, and rode a bike. The bike was horrible, but it was still funny. And it was obvious that Danes bike a lot more than English and Aussis.... hehe

Then came Agra! Wow! Taj Mahal! Wow!

And now I'm in Varanasi, the holy city on the Ganges. I've seen too many cremations, sunrise- and sunset ceremonies. And the place where Buddha gave his first sermon.

later today I leave for Calcutta...

It's a lot to short, and I should write more reflextions, I know. But time flies...;

Love y'all! Mette
