Welcome to our travellog
It's winter in Denmark. It’s dreamtime. Christmas is getting closer, and people start buying presents and wrap them into paper, finding themselves searching for hidden elves from last year in the attic. What we are doing these days is also searching and most of all: DREAMING :-). Not for/of typical Danish winter stuff or christmas decorations. Instead we are finding our backpacks, hiking boots and swimsuits to put in our suitcases.
Australia is calling, and within a week we’ll jump on a plane to Darwin in the Northern Territory, starting our adventure going south west in a 4WD, booked from the 24th of November.
We know it'll be extremely hot and humid this time a year, but we are planning to drink lots and lots of water and explore the Australian vast wilderness and live life, smiling all the way through the amazing landscape.
The trip will take us to Broome, down the coastline near Ningaloo, Coral Bay and Shark Bay and further on to Perth, where we shall deliever the bushcamper on the 27th of December. We haven’t planned whether we’ll go south or east from here – but one thing’s for sure:
We’ll enjoy the ability to be spontaneous.
On the 29th of December we’ll fly to Melbourne to celebrate New Year, and finally from 2nd of January you’ll find us in Adelaide, visiting good friends.
Please – if you like – check our travellog – we’ll try to keep you updatet with news and pictures, when the time and signal coverage permits.
Also feel free to write in our guestbook - we would loooooove a little hello from you once in a while.
- Og hilsner på dansk er mindst lige så velkomne som på engelsk, swahili eller japansk.
Cheers, knus og bedste hilsner
