Mexico

Home to infamous regions such as Cancun, Acapulco and the Riviera Maya, Mexico is a great place to spend a sunshine-filled vacation. From ancient historic ruins and golden sandy beaches to affordable luxury resorts and incredible nightlife, this country offers something for everyone to enjoy, whatever kind of vacation you prefer. If you’re travelling on a budget and want to pick up some cheap flights to Mexico, you’re best off sticking to the low seasons and avoiding the peak seasons.

Below the Tropic of Cancer which divides Mexico in two halves, temperatures are fairly warm all-year-round, whereas north of the Tropic of Cancer, the winters can often be relatively cool. There are two distinct seasons in Mexico – the dry season which falls between November and May and the wet season which takes place between June and October. With this in mind, if you’re after plenty of clear blue skies and sunshine during your vacation, you should be looking at low-cost flights to Mexico sometime during the dry season.

If there are no deals for budget flights to Mexico during the dry season and you only manage to snap up flights for the wet season, there’s no need to worry – there are still plenty of things you can see and do in the country, even in the middle of a tropical storm! Mexico City is packed full of museums brimming with exhibits, theatres which host incredible cultural shows and art galleries where you can admire the masterpieces of local and international artists.

On the other hand, if you visit Mexico during the dry season, you’ll have an even greater choice when it comes to attractions and sites to explore. The Yucatán Peninsula is full of family-friendly eco parks, Tulum is home to some of the country’s finest historical points of interest and Acapulco boasts a huge number of beautiful beaches.
