Top
The Galapagos Islands are a national park. All visitors have to pay an entrance fee to get in. The standard among the tour operators varies a lot. Make sure that all the details about your trip are described fully and very detailed before you go. If the boat trip is long the crew will expect a tip from you when you get ashore. Also be aware that some of the places cut off all electricity at 11.p.m.
